The Torresmo Mabiju is prepared from pork belly cut into small pieces and fried or roasted until crispy. It is of Portuguese origin but is widely consumed in Brazilian cuisine.
"It is consumed as a snack accompanied by lemon, pineapple jelly, or pepper jelly and is also used in recipes such as feijoada and feijão tropeiro. In addition to being perfect to accompany a beer or aguardente."
