Canjica or mungunzá is a very popular Brazilian dessert during the Festa Juninas. The dish is made with special corn for canjica, cooked with cow's milk or coconut milk, sugar, cinnamon, and cloves. Other ingredients such as peanuts and condensed milk can be added as desired. In Colombia and other Latin American countries, there is a similar dish made with cooked corn called "mazamorra."
